Diagnóstico e Tratamento da Alopecia Areata de Origem Dentária
Resumo
Na literatura médica, há alguns casos relatados de doenças sistêmicas, cujas hipóteses diagnósticas referem-se às infecções dentais, bem como a cura após a remoção do foco infeccioso. Alopecia Areata, caracteriza-se pela perda de cabelo em área demarcada na cabeça, barba, e/ou sobrancelha; a etipatogênese ainda não é bem conhecida, mas uma das coisas pode ser o foco dental. O objetivo deste estudo foi divulgar à classe médica e odontológica a relação entre Alopecia Areata e o foco dental, por meio de um caso clínico.Palavras chave: Alopecia; Folículo Piloso; Doenças do Cabelo; Inflamação; Autoimunidade.
