Cosmetic dentistry is in evidence today, so more and more people are looking for oral rehabilitation to provide personal and social ideal beauty for the smiling. Thus, advances in the quality of restorative materials in addition to new molding techniques, such as the use of digital scanners, were presented and discussed. The purpose of this article was to describe a case report of oral rehabilitation with IPS E.max ceramic system laminates, associated with the use of digital scanning. A female patient sought dental care with an interest in restoring a harmony of the central and lateral incisors due to dissatisfaction with old restorations. Her complaints and expectations were analyzed and a planning was proposed, as well as, photographic recording, arch molding, assembly of models in semi-adjustable articulator assembly, digital smile planning, and referral to the laboratory for diagnostic waxing, which assisted in the mock-up stage. The teeth were prepared and used for optical printing by a special Bluecam scanner from CEREC CAD / CAM System (computer-aided design / computer-aided manufacturing). The lithium disilicate glass-ceramic laminates were cemented with a light-curing resin cement in translucent color. It can be concluded that a proper planning is based on a good diagnosis, tooth preparation, and a good molding technique. In addition, the use of a digital scanner is a feature that can assist in the success of rehabilitation treatment with the use of the IPS E.max system.
