Reconstrução de fratura de assoalho orbital com uso de enxerto autógeno de cartilagem auricular: relato de caso

Abstract

Fraturas do assoalho orbital representam a maioria das fraturas de terço médio da face. Diversas complicações podem ocorrer em decorrência de tal injúria, incluindo enoftalmia, diplopia, parestesia infraorbital, restrição de movimentação ocular e diminuição da acuidade visual. O presente trabalho objetiva relatar um caso clínico de um paciente com fratura de assoalho orbital, tratado com o uso de enxerto de cartilagem auricular. Os resultados obtidos demonstram adequado resultado estético e funcional, bem como integridade e boa adaptação do enxerto, visualizados em uma tomografia computadorizada em 12 meses de pós-operatório.
