Osteomielitis Hematógena Aguda de Muñeca en Niños con Síndrome Compartimental: Reporte de un Caso

La osteomielitis hematógena aguda (OHA) es una afección relativamente común en niños menores de 5 años, que se localiza con mayor frecuencia en el fémur o la tibia. Presentamos un caso inusual de un paciente atendido en un hospital privado de Aracaju-SE con OHA de radio distal complicada con absceso subperióstico y síndrome compartimental. El reporte clínico reafirma la importancia del diagnóstico y tratamiento temprano ya que la mayoría de las complicaciones están relacionadas con el largo plazo de la infección, incluyendo el absceso subperióstico y el síndrome compartimental.
