Aesthetic procedures are becoming more popular in the clinical routine of dental offices, given the great demand for modifications in the smile by patients. This work aimed to describe the operative steps to carry out a smile transformation performed with composite resin by no preparation technique in an academic clinical setting at a Dentistry College in the north of the Minas Gerais state, Brazil. An 18-year-old male patient attended the School Clinic complaining of aesthetic dissatisfaction with his smile. In the clinical dental evaluation, multiple diastemas in the upper anterior and white spot lesions caused by fluorosis were observed. Based on the complaints reported by the patient, the following treatment sequence was proposed: 1. Enamel microabrasion in the upper arch; 2. Tooth whitening; 3. Confection of only additive veneers on teeth 11 and 21 and reanatomization by addition of composite resin in the proximal face of lateral incisors and mesial of the canines. Additive restorations performed with composite resin using the mock-up technique and silicone index are facilitating tools for the esthetic procedure of anterior teeth. The use of composite resins was able to provide a better contour to the teeth, closing the present diastemas, available in a more aesthetic smile.
